Dear Lord, as our children grow to increased independence, may their character develop too. May they grow in the fruit of the Spirit, honesty, consideration, diligence, loyalty, humility moral purity, etc. May they know what to do in situations that we cannot anticipate. Endow them with biblical wisdom. Please help us to train their consciences as the reasoning factors of their souls. May they know what to do where we are not in Jesus’ name, Amen.
