About

How it all started

Growing up in my community, I witnessed conflicts among children, particularly between the strong and the weak. It always saddened me to see children hurting each other. I longed for a way to stop these fights and bring peace to the children.

At a young age, I learned about the teachings of Jesus in Sunday school, where I understood that forgiveness and love can overcome the urge to hurt one another.

At the age of 9, I committed my life to Christ and started sharing the message of Christ with others. My desire to see many children come to Christ continued to grow, and at the age of 10, I received my first training as a Sunday school teacher.

As I progressed in my education, I completed certified training with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), equipping me to lead others to Christ and encourage them to pray, read their Bibles, and live by God’s Word.

These experiences ignited my passion to reach as many children as possible with the gospel. I pondered how I could best achieve this goal, which led me to pursue a career in journalism.

I obtained a Diploma in Journalism and later a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at Uganda Christian University (UCU). During my studies, while working on my research titled “The Influence of Movie Heroes on Social Behavior,”I realized that children have a social need that is often met with inappropriate content. This highlighted the necessity for a social center that provides age-appropriate activities and support for children’s social development. This realization further fueled my commitment to holistic child development, which I practice through social work and as a Sunday school teacher in my local church.
