Pastor Philemon Ongole

Pastor Philemon Ongole is a multifaceted spiritual leader, serving as Pastor and Overseer of Deliverance Church in eastern Uganda, Director of Hope Counselling Services, Director of Field Bible School for You (FIBISU), and Chairman of Africa Global Evangelical Missions for Christ Network (AGEMCN).

With a heart for serving others, Pastor Philemon is devoted to spreading the Gospel and making disciples, guiding individuals towards a deeper relationship with God. His unwavering commitment and unshakeable faith have inspired countless lives and fostered a community of believers.

Boasting over 40 years of serving experience, Pastor Philemon has held various roles, including Teacher at Bukedi College Kachonga, Tororo Girls’ School, and Africa Theological Seminary, where he also served as Academic Dean.

Currently, he leads Deliverance Church, Hope Counselling Services, FIBISU, and AGEMCN, leveraging his education, which includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) with a Concurrent Diploma in Education from Makerere University, a Masters Degree from Nairobi International School of Theology, and a pursuing PhD from International Leadership University, Nairobi.

Beyond ministry, Pastor Philemon cherishes family time and enjoys reading, writing, Christian ministry, counselling, and people development through mentorship, training, and equipping. His expertise spans biblical teaching and preaching, spiritual guidance and counselling, leadership development and mentorship, community outreach and evangelism, and church growth and development.
